Len and I (Ozzie) often discuss the car industry as a whole and how many great people we’ve met over the years. We even laugh about all of the honorary family members we’ve recruited, and how our guest lists keep growing and growing. We’re lucky enough to have a network of hard working, capable, passionate, creative and caring individuals in our corner. These guys/gals do wonders in their respective fields and do even more amazing things when they combine their powers.
With that said, there is Sean Lee, a visionary who has taken one of the most important rolls in this industry which is homogenization. He started an initiative a few years ago to utilize his network for good and encouraged like minded individuals to make a difference in their communities. From food to school supply drives, Sean has facilitated contributions in record numbers. But best of all, he remains humble and will never take full credit for any one initiative. Today there are 5,772 Purists who are all an important part of the automotive industry, and have been lead by example to think about ways in which they can all give back. I think that’s pretty powerful.
The Purist Group recently partnered with Turo to host an exclusive event called Cars for a Cause at the Automobile Driving Museum in El Segundo. A small group of Purists gathered to collect canned goods benefiting the La Habra Family Resource Center and to celebrate a select few that have helped the Purist Group reach its current level of success. Also in typical Purist Group fashion, there were some pretty nice cars out front to marvel at as well.
Check out some of the cars below and feel free to share the post, steal pictures and share online. And lastly, thanks for having us!
