The 86Fest / Motor Mavens crew hosted their third annual 86Fest at a new location this year on September 21st, 2014. In years past, the event has been held at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, to include both a car show and autocross event. This year, the team decided to host the car show and owners event at Irwindale Speedway with an autocross event scheduled two weeks later in Fontana.
The team boasts that 86Fest is the largest 86 owners event and did not disappoint with attendance this year either. There were lots of registered show cars, tons of vendors, a large crowd of attendees and a sea of 86’s in the parking lot. Not to mention there was food, drink, giveaways and one of the longest running raffle prize ceremonies we’ve ever attended. Given the magnitude of the 86Fest event, there has been a massive growth of supporters and sponsors over the years. This support attributed to the thousands of dollars in prizes that were given away, making for very happy and gratuitous attendees.
All in all, the team did a great job organizing such a massive and amazing event and we hope that the tradition continues in the future.

Shout out to our buddies over at OS Giiken. Make sure you pay them a visit if you’re looking for clutch upgrades and other goodies.
We ran into our buddies Sam Du (Super Street) and Jonathan Wong (Eibach) while touring the show.
Had to snap a picture of the lone S2k.
Is that an LFA kit??
